China Electronic Commerce
Association
In
order to promote the development of electronic commerce
throughout China and strengthen international cooperation
between China and the rest of the world in e-commerce, the China
Electronic Commerce Association (CECA) was set up on June 21st,
2000 after a year's preparation with the approval of the State
Council.
CECA provides a link between government, enterprises and
institutions at a basic level. It aims to promote the
development of e-commerce, encourage technology innovation,
improve existing technologies and management methods, and take
more steps on the road to further opening-up.
CECA is a nationwide non-profit organization related to
e-commerce without restrictions on regions, industries, or
nature of ownership. The Ministry of Information Industry (MII)
provides the professional guidance and the Ministry of Civil
Administration (MCA) is in charge of related registration
management leaders from related departments, agencies of the
State Council, representatives of outstanding enterprises and
institutions, and famous professionals in e-commerce related
fields from the CECA board of directors and consultants.
With the principle of justice, unity, and service, CECA aims
to enhance the development of e-commerce in China by offering
services to the government and members.
China International
Cooperation Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (CICASME)

The China International Cooperation Association of Small and
Medium Enterprises (CICASME) is a nation wide corporative
organization which was founded in March 1990, approved to be
registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's
Republic of China. It is made up of Chinese small and medium
enterprises, operators of China SMEs, and social leaders who are
enthusiastic for the cooperation of SMEs.
CASME aims to organize, promote, and leverage the development
of SMEs according to related national policies and regulations,
to play an intermediary role among SMEs, to exchange information
and ideas, to link economic and technical cooperation with
trade, and to serve the technical progress and development of
the export - oriented economy.
