Shortwave radio operates between the frequencies of 3 and 30 MHz
. An alternate name is HF or high frequency radio. and are associated with
high frequencies because there is an inverse relationship between frequency and
wavelength.Citizens' Band radio (CB) is, in many countries, a system of short-distance radio communications between individuals on a selection of 40
channels within the 27 MHz .Similar personal radio services exist in other
countries, with differing technical standards and does not require a
license and, unlike amateur radio, it may be used for commercial communication. The CB radio service should not be
confused with amateur Ham radio.
