Sweet Sue was a very popular doll from the 50s.
She is often found dressed as a bride
or in a ballgown.
A distinctive feature is a hoop slip to give the dress a very full appearance. She was complete with her flowered veil,
bouquet and satin center-snap shoes. She is 14" tall. Sweet Sue came in several
different sizes and her face seems to vary slightly with the size.
Another American Character Sweet Sue is 17" tall. She is not marked
but is wearing a well documented all original dress and shoes. She is a
beautiful walker doll with soft matte coloring. . She has the most gorgeous face!
With her eyes to match the blue in her dress.
