Golden age Cartoon comics refers to comics  about cartoon characters like Andy Panda, Blondie, Bugs Bunny , Casper the Friendly , Donald Duck, Felix the Cat , Looney Tunes ,Our Gang, Popeye, Porky Pig, Powerhouse Pepper, Raggedy Ann n Andy, Sad Sack Comics , Spooky, Terry-Toons , Three Stooges , Uncle Scrooge and
Walt Disney, created during the golden age of comics.from 1938 until the early 1950s.

The  similarities between comic strips and early animated movies, "cartoon" came to refer to animation, and this is the sense in which "cartoon" is most commonly used today. These are usually shown on television or in cinemas and ,. although the term can be applied to any animated presentation, it is most often used in reference to programs for children, featuring anthropomorphized animals, superheroes, the adventures of child protagonists, and other related genres. Although humor is the most prevalent subject matter, adventure and drama are also represented in this medium
