Science fiction in comics continued
through the 1960s with stories for children and adolescents. It
began to
return to the adult market again in the late 60s with
the wave of hippy underground comics. Science-fiction comics
have also been published in non-Western countries. Much of
Japanese manga is science fiction.
Science
Fiction genre has had it's
ups and downs, but now boasts an impressive lineup of must-read
stories.
