In Denmark the chemist Frantz Henrich Müller succeeded in
producing the coveted hard porcelain,
and receiving the backing of the royal
family.
The manufactory's first years were a hard but Müller succeeded in creating such a solid basis that King Christian
VII took over in 1779, thus guaranteeing the future of the porcelain
