Boyds Bears was founded by Gary M. Lowenthal and his wife .They began making and
selling stuffed bears, and the bears became known as "Boyds Bears" for the town
of Boyds, Maryland, where they lived and operated their business.the Bears have been featured in a lot of merchandise as well, some of which
includes toys, greeting cards, animated media,party goods, cell phone covers,
interior decoration sets, stickers, clothing accessories, figurines,ornaments,
decorative accessories, Fun Stuff, Purses and Handbags, T-Shirts, Tank Tops,
Night Shirts, School Supplies, Bags and Briefcases, Keychains ,Outerwear,
Scarves and Ties,Shirts, Watches, Decals, Glasses, hats, bags, Cooke
jars,Conforters, Cushions,Stickers, Night lights, and many other goods. The line of
plush bears and rabbits was a hugely popular success Boyds bears became Boyds

and friends, as the line expanded to include hares, cats, dogs, and a wide
array of other stuffed animals, as well as resin figurines, collectible dolls,
and accessories, in 1993 Boyds introduced the first resin bears. Today the
Boyds company has several product lines, but
